These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Android game DRIFT MEE ("the Game", "we", "us", "our"), distributed on Google Play. DRIFT MEE is operated by Vitalii Khitrov, trading as MagicSky (toiminimi), a sole trader registered in Finland, Business ID (Y-tunnus) 3452961-5, address: Kaamoskuja 2 E 27, 96500 Rovaniemi, Finland ("the Operator"). By playing DRIFT MEE, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game. Contact: driftmee.support@gmail.com.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to play DRIFT MEE. By using the Game, you confirm you meet this age requirement. Where your country's law sets a higher minimum age for consent to online services, that higher age applies. If you are under the age of majority in your country, review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
You can play as a guest without signing in.
You may optionally sign in (Google or email) to save and sync your progress across devices.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others or choose a nickname that is offensive, infringing, or misleading.
3. Licence to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play DRIFT MEE for your own entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the Game except as permitted by law.
4. Virtual items, in-game currency, and purchases
The Game offers virtual cosmetic items (skins, trails, themes) and convenience features ("Virtual Items"), plus an in-game currency called "Light".
Light is earned only by playing. It cannot be purchased with money. Light and Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and cannot be transferred or sold outside the Game.
You receive a limited licence to use Virtual Items within the Game; you do not own them and they remain the property of the Operator.
Optional real-money purchases (premium cosmetic skins) are processed by Google Play, which acts as the seller, handles payment, and applies any applicable taxes. Google Play's terms and refund policy apply to your purchase.
Purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except where required by law or by Google Play's refund policy.
EU/EEA consumers: you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases of digital content. Because a purchased item is delivered and usable immediately, you expressly consent to immediate performance when you buy it and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal for that content, as permitted by EU consumer law. Your rights under Google Play's refund policy and mandatory consumer law are not affected.
Legal guarantee of conformity: as a consumer you benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services under EU law (Directive (EU) 2019/770) and the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (kuluttajansuojalaki). Nothing in these Terms limits that guarantee.
Paid items provide cosmetic value only. They do not provide any gameplay advantage and do not affect leaderboard ranking.
5. Fair play and ranking
The Game includes global leaderboards, tournaments, and anti-cheat systems.
You must not cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate scores, use unauthorised tools, or attempt to gain an unfair ranking advantage.
We use server-side validation to protect ranking integrity. Scores or accounts found to be manipulated may be removed or reset.
We may adjust, reset, or remove leaderboards and tournament results to maintain fairness.
6. Tournaments and prizes — no cash, no gambling
The Game may run tournaments with cosmetic and status-based prizes only (exclusive skins, titles, badges, premium time, in-game Light, and the "Champion's World" feature).
There are no cash prizes, no payouts, and no gambling. Prizes have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Winners are determined by server-verified results. We may modify, suspend, or cancel tournaments to protect fairness or for operational reasons.
7. Champion's World
Tournament winners may earn the right to request a personalised in-game world ("Champion's World").
The request is interpreted and built in the Game's art style (stylised top-down, riso-print). The result is created by us "in the spirit of" your description; it is not an arbitrary uploaded image.
All Champion's Worlds are subject to moderation and approval before publication. We may reject or require changes.
Requests must not contain offensive, illegal, sexual, political, or hateful content; third-party brands, trademarks, characters, or intellectual property; advertising, links, personal data, or impersonation.
A published Champion's World belongs to the Game / Operator. You receive the honour and a lasting nickname credit, not ownership of the world.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Game for any unlawful purpose; cheat, hack, or disrupt the Game or its servers; attempt to access other users' accounts or data; submit offensive, infringing, or illegal content (nicknames, Champion's World requests); or harass others. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
9. User content and moderation
Content you submit (nicknames, Champion's World requests) may be reviewed and moderated. We may remove content or refuse requests that violate these Terms. By submitting content, you grant us a licence to use it within the Game as needed to provide the relevant feature.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Game available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; it may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
We may add, change, or remove features, worlds, items, or content at any time.
Core gameplay works offline for guests; online features (leaderboards, sign-in, sync, purchases, ads) require an internet connection.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Game will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Game in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) €50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights under Finnish and EU law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Game at any time and can delete your account and its data in the Game (Settings → Account → Delete account), via drift-mee.netlify.app/delete-account, or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
Virtual Items and Light are forfeited on termination and are not refundable, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Mandatory consumer protection rights under Finnish and EU law remain unaffected. Disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Finland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
If a dispute cannot be resolved by contacting us first, consumers residing in Finland may contact the Consumer Advisory Services (kuluttajaneuvonta, kkv.fi) and may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta, kuluttajariita.fi). Consumers residing in other EU/EEA countries may contact the European Consumer Centre network (ECC-Net) in their country; a list of national dispute-resolution bodies is available at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. For significant changes we will notify you in advance within the Game (or by other reasonable means) before they take effect; if you do not agree, you may stop using the Game and delete your account. For minor changes (such as clarifications or corrections), continued use of the Game after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
